My Food My Choice

This YCC is supporting My Food My Choice in their campaign to save NYC’s incredible and diverse cuisine and protect your right to make your own food choices. My Food My Choice is a grassroots coalition of consumers and businesses that promotes the advancement of consumer choice in the marketplace and an environment of economic vitality. This coalition started because of the continuing burdens placed on business by regulations and the increased government control over people’s lives. The most recent being the National Salt Reduction Initiative (NSRI) unveiled recently by the NYC Department of Health. NSRI sets specific targets for restaurant and manufacturers foods, and effectively sets policy for the entire country.
