Christopher N. Malagisi, President
Christopher Malagisi is President of the Young Conservatives Coalition, a DC-based, young professional conservative leadership and networking organization dedicated to organizing the next generation of the conservative movement. He is also Director of Political Training at The Leadership Institute – a national conservative political training organization. Malagisi is also a political science Adjunct Professor at American University teaching two courses titled The Modern Conservative Movement in US Politics: 1945-Present and Campaigns & Political Activism, earning him a 2010 Pollie Award for political education. Malagisi was also awarded the 2009 Rising Star Award from Campaigns & Elections Politics Magazine for significant achievements in national politics and is currently a National Review Institute Washington Fellow. Previously, he worked on three US presidential campaigns, a high-profile US Senate campaign, the International Republican Institute (travelling to Afghanistan), Capitol Hill, and the College Republican National Committee. He is a published op-ed writer and has been a political analyst on Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, and CSPAN. He is orginally from Buffalo, NY, received a Masters of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School, a B.A. in Political Science from American University, is presently an officer with the Republican Party of Virginia (8th Dist.), has worked/studied in 36 countries and recorded two original music piano albums.

Sarah B. Smith, Vice President
Sarah Smith is a development officer at Americans for Prosperity. Most recently, she served as a recruiter at Positions Inc., specializing in government relations, association, and non-profit placement. Prior to recruiting, Sarah was the manager of political research and the K Street Project at Americans for Tax Reform (ATR). There she ran ATR’s job employment service and the monthly Americans for Tax Reform Job Listings. Sarah started her career in Washington interning with the Republican National Committee major donor program, the Eagles. Sarah is also a veteran of many campaigns, such as the Bush/Cheney ’04 re-election campaign, where she worked as the Pennsylvania team leader & field representative for the College Republican National Committee. She has also served as the Chair on the DC Steering Committees for the releases of critically acclaimed independent films, Bella and The Stoning of Soraya M. Currently, Sarah serves on the board of Political Chicks RightNOW.
She received her B.A. in International Affairs with honors and a concentration in Spanish from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, VA.

Treasurer, Anna Koval
Alexander Brunk, Secretary
Alex works as a Project Director for the polling and market research firm Wilson Research Strategies. He is responsible for executing and analyzing political polls and market research surveys, and has conducted more than two hundred opinion research studies including campaign polls for Congressmen Mike Pence, Duncan D. Hunter, Sam Graves, and Jim Gerlach. Prior to joining Wilson Research, Brunk worked on more than a dozen political campaigns, including Herman Cain’s US Senate campaign in 2004 and Senator Fred Thompson’s presidential campaign in 2007. He has also worked at The Leadership Institute and the DC Economic Empowerment Coalition, and as Editor of the political blog SavetheGOP.com. Brunk received his B.S. in Public Policy from Georgia Tech, where he served as President of the College Republicans and Executive Director of the Georgia Association of College Republicans. He is presently completing his M.A. in Political Science at Virginia Tech. Originally from Deerfield, IL, he resides in Alexandria, VA with his wife Karuna.

Michelle Selesky, Communications Director
Michelle is Communications Coordinator at Gingrich Communications where she orchestrates media opportunities for the former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, in addition to promoting speeches, book signings, Newt.org, and DVD and audio marketing. Michelle holds a Masters Degree in Political Management from the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University. Prior to that, she graduated with honors from UCLA, where she earned a B.A. in Political Science and served as team captain of the UCLA Women’s Gymnastics team.

Diane Tager, Online Director
Diane Tager graduated from Georgetown University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Since graduation she has been working as a nurse for Prince George’s County Health Department Healthy Start Program. She resides in Arlington, VA and is an avid supporter of conservative ideals. She will also be attending University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business in the Fall of 2010.

William Haun, Policy Director
William J. Haun is a law student at The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, where he is Federalist Society chapter president. He also works as a research assistant on Free Speech and Free Exercise cases and scholarship with Professor Mark Rienzi. Mr. Haun works in an editorial capacity on both The Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, and The Catholic University Law Review. His writings on law and politics have appeared at National Review Online, and The Daily Caller, while he has offered commentary on numerous television and radio stations. During the summer of 2010, Mr. Haun assisted in criminal prosecution in a Maryland State’s Attorney’s Office, and is working for Judge Christine Miller on the U.S. Court of Federal Claims during the fall of 2010. Prior to law school, Mr. Haun worked in The Heritage Foundation’s Center for Legal and Judicial Studies after receiving his B.A., cum laude, in political science from American University. He is originally from the state of Connecticut, which he proudly represented in 2005 as a scholarship winner of the U.S. Senate Youth Program.

Bryant Conger, Deputy Policy Director
Bryant currently works as a fundraiser for Young America’s Foundation; a conservative non-profit organization that preserves the Reagan Ranch to teach young people about the foundational American principles that make our country exceptional. He received his BA in public management from the University of Arizona where he became heavily involved in the Conservative Movement. Prior to working with Young America’s Foundation, Bryant helped promote the interests of our nation’s entrepreneurs as a field coordinator for the United States Chamber of Commerce. He also worked for the College Republican National Committee in Cleveland, Ohio where he organized hundreds of active conservative students for the 2004 election cycle. His favorite activity is watching MSNBC after the left looses an election.
