While homeland security can sometimes sit on the backburner of the nation’s policy agenda, the threat of terrorism against America continues—as evidenced by the recent Christmas Day and Times Square terror plots. Continuing to stop terrorism, while keeping Americans free, safe, and prosperous is a challenge that can’t be overlooked by today or tomorrow’s leaders.
